SmartSteer Infra Red Driving Aid

Autochair's SmartSteer Infra Red Driving Device is one of the best driving aids available. Once fitted to your car's steering wheel, the SmartSteer hand controls keypad works in the following way:

Full Beam - Press once to flash full beam, turn dipped headlights on first to keep full beam on permanently - press again to turn off. 

Horn - Press once to sound horn, hold to sound horn for longer and release to stop*.

Left Indicator - press once to indicate, press again to turn off. Can be set to automatically cancel.

Right Indicator - press once to indicate, press again to turn off. Can be set to automatically cancel. Hold to turn hazard lights on.*

Dipped lights - Press to turn on, press again to turn off. Turn on before full beam to keep full beam on.

Front wipers - press once for intermittant*, double press for first speed*, and triple press for 3rd speed*. Press again to turn off and hold button for water spray.

Rear wipers - Same as front wipers.*

Keypad illumination - unmarked button. Useful for night driving - press once, handset lights come on and stay on for 7 seconds before fading slowly over 3 seconds.
