Swivel Seat Options

For people suffering with limited mobility and confined to a wheelchair, moving to and from a vehicle can be a difficult process. Our range of swivel seats are designed to ease this process.  The car seat rotates to face outwards from the car, making it easier for you to move from your wheelchair. Our more advanced models are electronically controlled and include additional features such as height control.

We offer a wide range of swivel seats, starting with the Autochair Basic Swivel Seat which is manually controlled by pulling a simple lever. The Autochair Up and Out is electronic and may be lowered and raised, making it easier to move to and from the seat. The Autochair 4 Way Seat System is also controlled electronically and slides forward. Our Autochair Turny Swivel & Lower Seat Systems are suitable for bigger vehicles, offering a greater range of movement. Our range of Autochair Turnout Swivel Seats are electronically operated and provide additional features to support the leg, thigh, head and neck. The Autochair Up & Out Seat can be raised and lowered to the most suitable height and is suitable for hatchbacks, saloons, and estate cars.

Many of our swivel seats are suitable for either the driver or the passenger, giving you the opportunity to enjoy the freedom of the open road without being restricted by the difficult process of moving to or from a vehicle.
