Transferring your hoist to a new vehicle - an update for Motability customers

From Monday 12th April transfer kits will no longer be available to order on the Motability Scheme. 

This will mean that if you already have a hoist in your Motability vehicle, you will not be able to transfer this to a new vehicle at the end of your lease through the scheme. Any existing orders placed for a transfer of a hoist prior to the 12th April will of course be honoured.

Whilst this is regretful, we have not been able to overcome the increased costs associated with transferring a hoist versus supplying a new one with our friends at Motability. The result is that the transfer of a hoist must now be paid for entirely by the customer and will cost significantly more than replacing your old hoist with a new one.

If you have a private vehicle we are still able to arrange a transfer of your hoist to a new vehicle. Our team are on hand to assist with this and can also help advise on which new cars will be suitable for use with your hoist and scooter or wheelchair.
