Animal-lover Patsy can now enjoy walks with her husband and four-legged friends once again thanks to an Autochair mobility scooter hoist.

Owners of more than 20 animals including two donkeys, two parrots and two miniature goats, Patsy (77) and husband John (77) can now leave their home with ease.

"I bought my new scooter in April and since then my life has been so much more enjoyable – I’ve even called it ‘Daisy’. My car is already named ‘Betsy’ too. Having an Autochair hoist has made going on a trips and walks with the scooter so much easier."

Patsy chose an LP Range hoist, part of Autochair’s Smart Lifter products, to aid the lifting of her scooter from the pavement to her car.

"I have suffered with arthritis for over 14 years, particularly in my back and legs which reduced my mobility and means I am unable to walk a great distance. After using scooters for six years, Autochair was recommended to me by Mobility Scooter Plus.
